I’m a board-certified psychiatrist in NYC specializing in psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
I help patients move beyond quick fixes to meaningful, lasting change.
My Approach
Through years of training and clinical experience, I’ve searched for the best ways to help people make genuine, long-lasting change. In working with my patients, we’ve found that the biggest difference comes when we spend our sessions trying to understand what is driving their suffering.
Consistently, we discover that the deepest causes lie within the mind rather than in the outside world. Seeing this clearly opens the possibility for real change. Once those inner patterns are recognized, the mind naturally begins to let go of old habits and find new ways of living—leading to greater happiness, ease, and fulfillment.
“Real change begins when we understand the mind, not just the symptoms.”

Goals
My goal is to help you experience greater self-awareness, emotional freedom, and relief from persistent symptoms such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and the effects of trauma. In our work together, what matters most to you becomes the starting point for exploring the workings of your mind and uncovering patterns that contribute to your suffering. The ultimate aim is transformation that continues beyond the therapy session and after treatment ends.
